Flamenco singer "Cantaora"

Eva Duran

She was born in Estepona (Malaga). At the the age of 7 she participated for the first time as a soloist in a benefic festival without having received academic preparation before. At 12 years she starts 1rst grade in notation, classical Spanish dance and Flamenco.

She moves to Madrid where she starts her professional career with plenty of companies, with whom she works as singer and part of the dance ensemble, next to great artists, among which there was the company “Cumbre Flamenca” with Antonio Canales, Juana Amaya, Beatriz Martín, Carmelilla Montoya, Mariquilla, Cristóbal Reyes etc. and others like Joaquín Cortés’ company, Joaquín Grilo, Rafael Amargo, Javier Barón’s company and Sara Baras.
She also works together with great guitarists such as Manolo Sanlúcar, Vicente Amigo and Gerardo Núñez, as second with Remedios Amaya, Niña Pastori, Duquende.

She realized collaborations with musicians like Chano Domínguez and Guillermo McGill in first line at the San Javier festival, with Jorge Pardo, Carlos Benavent and Juan Manuel Cañizares.
